The Family Partnership Center is both a building and a way of thinking
It’s a great big, old school building we renovated to house more
than twenty agencies that provide services to the community. But it’s
also an opportunity for agencies and community people to collaborate in
hundreds of ways every day that will improve our community and stretch
our dollars.
The Family Partnership Center opened in 1997 under
the leadership of Families First NY (then Family Services, Inc.). In
2003, the Family Partnership Center became a non-profit corporation
under the Families First umbrella.
By sharing space the many agencies that call the Family Partnership
Center home benefit from shared security, maintenance, and technology.
We can meet casually and give birth to great ideas. And we know who to
call when our clients need help we don’t provide.
It’s 'one-stop-shopping’ for people who need help
By stopping in our centralized welcome office, you can find the
services you need quickly and easily, without crisscrossing the city.
Our intake staff can help you sort out which agency can meet your need.
And they can pave the way.
Join the excitement at the Family Partnership Center
There’s almost always a celebration, a play, a concert, or a lecture
series brewing. Our auditorium has a great stage. Our conference rooms
can host almost any size group. And our minds are always abuzz with
ideas. Sometimes individual agencies sponsor these events. Often we
plan them collaboratively. And, we make the space available to other
community groups as well.
There’s a lot happening here, so,
consider the Family
Partnership Center
the place to come to find the people,
space and resources
to make life better.
